As the Executive Director of Earned Media, Sara oversees the media department at MMC, providing both strategic counsel and tactical support for the agency’s portfolio of consumer, corporate and healthcare clients.
Sara takes an approach to earned media that is non-traditional and looks at the world of communications holistically. Her ability to craft unique strategies with this lens coupled with her power of emotional intelligence has led to her executing many industry-firsts, like placing stories on chimeric T-cells in People Magazine and integrating skin diversity into Animal Crossing, a mainstream video game.
Sara has been the mastermind behind countless insights-driven media strategies, product launches and talkable campaigns for clients that range from the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies including Johnson & Johnson and Amgen to high-profile consumer brands like Tide, Venus and Pantene. Fluent in C-suite, celebrity and executive media training, Sara is passionate about finding the best ways to tell a story in an authentic and impactful way. A healthcare geek at heart, her experience in this arena spans across therapeutic areas, including women’s health, cardiovascular, autoimmune disorders, rare disease, oncology and health tech.
Recently awarded '40 under 40' for MM&M's 2020 inaugural class, she is known for her deep-rooted client relationships, can-do nature, consultative leadership style and mentorship of young professionals.
